Version 2026-10
1. About these advertising terms
These terms (version 2026-10) apply to any advertiser booking, submitting, or running an ad campaign through the GotPrinter business portal or through our team. They supplement our Terms of Service.
2. Rights and consent
You must hold all rights, permissions, licences, and consents necessary for every image, logo, trademark, illustration, text, and person featured in your artwork.
If your artwork depicts any living person, you must have their prior written consent to use their likeness in print. You grant GotPrinter and our outlet partners the licence to print and distribute your artwork as agreed for your campaign.
3. Content and audience standards
GotPrinter ad pages are printed at counter outlets and handed directly to members of the public, including school and college students. All artwork and offers must be suitable for an audience that includes minors.
We do not accept advertising that promotes or contains any of the following:
- Tobacco, nicotine products, vapes, or related paraphernalia.
- Alcohol or alcoholic beverages.
- Gambling, betting, real-money gaming, or lotteries.
- Adult, sexually suggestive, or explicit content.
- Political campaigning, political parties, candidates, or political advocacy.
- Religious campaigning, proselytisation, or religious disputes.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, or dangerous goods.
- Unregistered financial products, unregulated loan schemes, get-rich-quick claims, or cryptocurrency promotions.
- Guaranteed-rank claims, false exam pass promises, or exam-leak offers.
All claims regarding pricing, discounts, and outcomes must be honest, substantiated, and compliant with applicable standards under the Consumer Protection Act and Advertising Standards Council of India guidelines.
4. Third-party personal data
Your artwork must not contain the personal data of third parties, including personal phone numbers, private residential addresses, government identifiers, or photographs of individuals who have not given documented consent.
Business contact details printed on the page for customer enquiries are published by your choice.
5. Review, refusal, and remedies
Every campaign and design is reviewed before it can print. An area manager or operations head reviews the artwork and campaign settings against these terms.
The area manager may send the artwork back for revisions or refuse the campaign. If a campaign is refused, your remedy is account credit for the unused pages of your plan. Unused credit may be refunded to your original payment method on request.
6. Non-personal targeting
We never target a person, only places.
Campaigns can target geographic zones, cities, specific areas, named outlets, or outlet categories such as colleges, courts, or commercial markets. We do not target individual customers, student browsing habits, document contents, or personal devices. We do not collect or provide personal data about the customers who receive your printed pages.
